Coordinates: 25.45 N, 056.01 E
Description: Ras al-Khaimah is a sub port of Mina Saqr which is located on the Gulf coast, approx 30km N of Ras al Khaimah, close to the Strait of Hormuz.
There is a jetty of length 100m., suitable for berthing smaller vessels, which is protected by a breakwater and the depth of water here is 3.0m. All larger cargo vessels with cargo should assume discharging / loading will be carried at Mina Saqr.

ETA's: Notify ETA 48, 24, 12 hours and then every hour prior to arrival.
NAVIGATION
Approaches:
Port is bounded by a main and lee breakwater. No hazards or sandbars; depth in the dredged channel 12.2m, length 2.4km, width 180m min.
Approach buoy in position Lat 26°00'N, Long 056°02.40'E is a red and white pillar buoy.
Anchorages:
Anchorage area to seaward of main breakwater bounded by the following co-ordinates:
1. 25°58.36'N 056°01.48'E
2. 25°59.24'N 055°59.02'E
3. 26°01.12'N 056°02.11'E
Depth ranging from 20-38m; good holding ground.
Principal navigation aids:
Leading directional light on 20m high tower, red 3°, white 4°, green 3°.
Tugs:
Available, four tugs, total capacity 5,650hp.
Restrictions:
Pilotage is available 24 hours a day and is compulsory. Pilots will board in the vicinity of the Mina Saqr Approach buoy in position Lat 26°00'N, Long 056°02'E.
Max size:
Largest vessel handled: 60,000dwt part loaded or 45,000dwt fully laden, max LOA 225m, max draft 12.0m.
